Information used to run Lapsed

We use account details such as your name and email address to provide sign-in, subscription support, and weekly digest delivery. Subscription status and billing events are processed through the hosted billing service. Lapsed does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

The service also stores patent records, saved weekly issues, and AI-assisted summaries so it can provide the digest and archive. Weekly emails are sent through the Polsia email service. We use these systems to operate and support the service.

Patent sources and AI-assisted analysis

Lapsed uses public patent information from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), including PTMNFEE2 maintenance-fee event data, grant and continuity records, Patent Center application records, and primary patent drawings. Patent analysis and summaries are AI-assisted. They are informational research material, not legal advice or a legal determination about ownership, enforceability, or a right to make or sell a product.

Subscription choices

The subscriber plan costs $24 per month. Subscribers can cancel anytime from their profile. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the already-paid period; digest and archive access continues through that period end.
